Distinctive authentic Turkish food and drink in a welcoming environment.

Great atmosphere, even down to the silverware you get a Turkish experience. Food was amazing. Has that sophisticated Mediterranean palate but with some recognizable food for picky Americans like pizza adjacent pide.

We decided to use Zeeyum Kitchen to cater a large family event, and honestly I cannot recommend them enough. They were extremely generous with the portions, everybody was happy and satisfied (vegetarians and meat eaters alike), and the owner was very helpful in helping us place an order that would meet our group’s needs. We had chicken, lamb, rice, pitas, sautéed vegetables, Zee’s salad, pita chips, hummus, and eggplant dip, all of it delicious. They are an excellent choice if you need to cater food for a large event

I love this place. We go with my husband every time we can. For dinner or breakfast both are great.
owners are some of the most caring folks I ahve seen around GSO. Not that many of them around.

Their baklava is to die! (Specially fi you get the chance to have it warm... just thinking about it melts my mouth).

- Breakfast.

One of the things thta I really appreciated the first time we went and for me was a highlight, that day, they had some problem with their falafel and the owner said, we could order but that it was not the one they make (they had to bring it from somewhere else I guess) so they suggested to not order and wait for next time. For me that honesty was a +1. They could just go with no word just to be able to sell.

The cheff/owner goes around the tables checking if everythign was good and if any problem.

I can probably count the places I like to go for dinner / or are in my top 5 in greensboro with 1 hand.

My mom and Aunt are visiting from Argentina and they have been in Turkey and I am looking forward to take them at least one time for dinner and another for breakfast.

If you’ve ever dreamed of visiting Istanbul for authentic Turkish cuisine, you don’t have to travel that far, just head to Zeeyum Kitchen on W. Market Street in Greensboro!

After hearing so many great things, my family and I finally decided to try it this weekend, and all I can say is… WOW! What an incredible experience from start to finish.

First, let me say that Zee, the owner and chef, is one of the most welcoming restaurateurs you’ll ever meet. He not only prepares amazing food but also takes the time to personally greet his guests, making you feel like family the moment you walk in.

We started with the Hummus and Fresh Flatbread, and it was absolutely outstanding, fresh, creamy, and full of flavor.

Next came the Börek (Ground Beef and Feta Cheese). Think of it as the best, most flavorful “egg roll” you’ve ever had, but with authentic Turkish flair. Simply delicious!

I had the Bugu Kebabi, served in a clay plate with red onions and tomatoes. Sealed with baked bread. I’m usually not a lamb person, but when Zee explained that the lamb is marinated for hours in an onion-based broth, I decided to step outside my comfort zone. I’m so glad I did! The lamb was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. The presentation was also unique and memorable, with the delicate thin bread cut open right at the table. It was more than enough for my daughter and me to share.

My wife ordered the Beyti Kebab, is a Turkish dish consisting of ground beef, grilled on a skewer and served wrapped in lavash and topped with yogurt sauce and butter sauce. Every single bite was bursting with amazing flavors. Another outstanding dish!

The desserts are to die for!!!

Before you leave, don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy an authentic Turkish Coffee, Turkish Wines, or a Turkish Beers to complete the experience.

If you’re looking for a restaurant that offers healthy, authentic, delicious, and very reasonably priced food, Zeeyum Kitchen should absolutely be on your list. The service is exceptional, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and there’s plenty of convenient parking.

You'll find at ZeeYum what you can scarcely find anywhere else in the world: a meal that tastes like it was cooked with love by your friend's Turkish grandmother. The baklava is on par with pastries I've had in world class bakeries in Paris. Halfway through the meal I was offered a sample of a new dish the owner was trying, and the pide bread, which I'd never had before - different from "pita" - was some of the best bread I've had in my life. This place is a rare gem, especially if you like mediterranean food.
